Group Discussion Task

The procedure of group testing is adopted in the armed forces in order to test the group value of the candidate. The main factors which trace out the group worth of the candidate are his ability to co-operate with the group, his ability to perform the work in his hand, his power to face physical and mental tortures, his persuative quality, his positive approach towards group interests, his quality of leadership, etc.

The Group Discussion Test or Group Discussion Test has assumed great important in the Group Testing Officer Task or G.T.O. Task, the candidate creates the first impression on the Group Testing Officer G.T.O and other members discussion of his group. The good performance of the candidate in the task of group discussion create a good. As first impression is the last impression, hence the candidate must try his best to show his worth in Group Discussion Test of the Group Testing Officer and his other colleagues.

1.    Islam is the only Religion of Mankind

Chest No.1

The word religion literally means “The recognition of Allah’s commands and of the duty pertaining to mankind to yield obedience to these: the recognition of the Divine being to whom obedience is due. “The other words for religion are deen. Mazhab derives its root from the word zahaba meaning “he went” and thus mazhab denotes “a way that one follows in respect of doctrines and practices in religion or an opinion respecting religion.

Some of the other non-Islamic definitions of religion are: “Religion is what the individual does with his own solitariness” , as stated by Whitehead, the mathematician and scientist, in his book entitled “Religion in the Making”. One of the greatest scientists Einstein, in his book “Science and Religion” says: “Instead of asking what religion is, I should prefer to ask what characterizes the aspiration of a person who is given the impression of being religious. A person who is religiously enlightended appear to me one who has liberated himself frm his selfish desires and his pre-occupied with thoughts, feelings and aspirations to which he clings, because of their super-persona value.

The word religion stand for “the religion of Islam. ”Islam has, all along, from Adam (peace be upon him)  to her present day, been the only true religion of the mankind, and it will remain so till the Judgement Day.

The word Islam is an Arabic word and Arabic Language being Ummu-ul-Lisan (mother of all languages). This word assumes vast meaning. The word Islam means “mankind’s complete obedience to Allah.” Islam  means and enjoins man’s complete submission and obedience to Allah not merely in belief and mode of ibadat, but in ethiscs and  morality , in culture and social behavior, in politics and laws, in economic and social set-up, and in all the individual, nation and international affairs of man alike.

The word Islam also means “entering into salam” and salm and slim both signify “peace”: both of these words are  used in the sense of “peace” in the Quran. The name of Allah’s deen as presented in the Quran is Islam and the name given to the people who follow Islam in Muslim.

Chest No.6

Everything of the Universe is Muslim. Mankind observes minutely that the whole universe is a systematic one. There is perfect law and order among all the units that make this universe. Everything is allotted a place in the vast scheme, which is working in the grand superb system. The sun, the moon, the stars and the planets, and in fact, all the heavenly bodies are linked together in a splendid way. They follow on an unchangeable law and do not make even the slightest deviation from the Allah’s ordained course.

Allah testifies the fact that whatever is in the heavens and the earth is Muslim in the Quran 24:41 in these words: “Do you not know that whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and the birds with their outspread wings, are Muslims everyone has learnt his own mode of Salat, and his own mode of carrying out commands of Allha.

Chest No.8

There has all along been, since Adam (peace be upon him), only one true religion Islam. And this has all along started in all the Revelations of Allah that Islam is the same law of Allah, which has all along been revealed to the mankind. Mankind has been straying from the Right Path, off and on. The teaching of all the Prophet from Adam to Muhammad (peace be upon them all) was only one, the code of conduct of the whole mankind was only one, the message was only one, and even the Book, which has been revealed in more or less 104 Revelations was only one, though revealed is different languages, through different Prophets, and at different times.

Allah stresses, here and there, in the Quran that the path of Islam is the only right path, and that no other religion except Islam is acceptable to him. In the Quran 3:19, Allah says ”Surely the deen(religion) with Allah is only Islam”.

Chest No.10

The present age of Islam as contained in the Quran and the Hadith is not a new religion but is the same original Islam, which was revealed to Adam, Ibrahim, Duad, Musa, Isa, and other Prophets (Peace be upon them all). The Quran points out towards that fact in 87:18 and 6:92 thus: “And this is in Scriptures of the earliest Revelations, the Scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa”, and “This is the book(The Quran) which we have revealed, bringing blessings and confirming all, which has been revealed prior to it.”
